How do I make a study set?
Create a set and add questions with their answers. A set can hold up to 500 cards.
Can I import cards from a file?
Yes. Learnify imports a .json, .md, .txt or .tsv file of up to 2 MB into a study set on your device.
What are the three study modes?
- Flashcards — flip each card, then mark it Again or Got it.
- Quick quiz — multiple choice from up to four answers drawn from the same set.
- Match sprint — timed pairing of questions with their answers, up to six pairs per round.
Where are my sets kept?
Only on your device, in the app's own storage, together with your progress. They are included in your device backups if you have backups turned on. Deleting the app deletes its data, so back up your sets first if you want to keep them.
How do I back up or move my sets?
Back up sets and Export JSON open the iOS share sheet so you can save a JSON file wherever you choose. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you do that.
Does Learnify need an internet connection?
No. Learnify makes no network requests at all; everything it shows is bundled with the app.
