What Learnify does
Learnify lets you make study sets of questions and answers and study them three ways: Flashcards, Quick quiz and Match sprint. The app is free. It has no account system and no sign-in.
No network requests
Learnify makes no network requests at all. It works offline, and everything it shows is bundled with the app. There is no Learnify server, and nothing you type into the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
What is stored, and where
Your study sets and your study progress are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. Like other app data, they are included in your device backups if you have backups turned on — that is standard iOS behaviour, and those backups are governed by your own backup settings. Deleting the app deletes its data.
Importing and exporting
When you import a .json, .md, .txt or .tsv file (up to 2 MB), Learnify reads that file into a study set on your device. Back up sets and Export JSON open the iOS share sheet so you can save a JSON file wherever you choose; the destination you pick handles it from there. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you do that.
Sharing and tracking
Learnify contains no ads, no in-app purchases and no analytics, and it does not track you. Because nothing reaches us, there is no copy for us to retain or delete.
Children
Learnify isn't directed at children. The app has no account and collects nothing from anyone who uses it, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
