What Ember Isle is
Ember Isle is a 3D voxel survival game that grows into a city builder. The game is free. It has no account system and no sign-in.
No network requests
Ember Isle makes no network requests and plays offline. There is no Ember Isle server, and nothing about you or your game is sent to us or to anyone else.
What is stored, and where
Your saved games and settings are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. Like other app data, they are included in your device backups if you have backups turned on — that is standard iOS behaviour, and those backups are governed by your own backup settings. Deleting the app deletes its saves.
Exporting and importing a save
The game can export a save through the iOS share sheet, or as a save code you can copy, and import it again later. The destination you pick in the share sheet, or wherever you paste a save code, handles it from there. Nothing leaves your device unless you do that.
Sharing and tracking
Ember Isle contains no ads, no in-app purchases and no analytics, and it does not track you. Because nothing reaches us, there is no copy for us to retain or delete.
Children
Ember Isle isn't directed at children. The game has no account and collects nothing from anyone who plays it, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
