What is Alder Reach?
Alder Reach is an eight-chapter story with an ending, built around conduit puzzles that nothing times. The Greenhouse Boards, the five original Circuit Garden tile puzzles, are playable any time from the journal.
How do I play with touch?
Drag the joystick at the bottom left to walk, and use JUMP and ACT. Tap ACT at a glowing conduit to turn its plates. Landscape is recommended; portrait works too.
Does it work with a game controller?
Yes. Game controllers work too.
How does saving work?
The campaign saves itself at every checkpoint. Saves are kept only on your device, in the app's own storage, and are included in your device backups if you have backups turned on. Your best move counts on the Greenhouse Boards are kept on the device too.
How do I export or import a save?
Tap ☰ to open the journal, which has Settings and Saves. In Saves you can export a save through the iOS share sheet and import it again later. Nothing leaves your device unless you export it.
How do I start over?
On the title screen, New game asks Start a new campaign? before it replaces your saved campaign, and your settings are kept. Choose Keep my campaign to back out. Deleting the app deletes its saves, so export a save first if you want to keep it.
How do I play the Greenhouse Boards?
Open Journal › OPEN GREENHOUSE BOARDS, tap a tile to rotate it, and tap ← ALDER REACH to go back.
